How It Works

An Energy Audit consists of using a calibrated blower door to determine the air infiltration rate of your home.

A blower door is a powerful fan that mounts into the frame of an exterior door. The fan pulls air out of the house, which allows outside air to flow in through all unsealed cracks and openings.  This is where your heating and cooling dollars are escaping. By locating and sealing these unwanted openings you could save hundreds of dollars a year in heating and cooling costs.
